Hi, Actually it's a 4.8 machine. The other machines that I've done this one were both 5.x machines [they worked]
> httpd.conf > LoadModule perl_module libexec/apache2/mod_perl.so > LoadModule apreq_module libexec/apache2/mod_apreq2.so Just the first line. None of my other systems contain the apreq line either tho. > Files: > /usr/local/libexec/apache2/mod_perl.so > /usr/local/libexec/apache2/mod_apreq2.so Once again, i have the mod_perl.so file, not apreq > other than that, as stated by someone else - keep an eye on the logs, > see what error gets tripped When I run apachectl configtest the error log remains unchanged. > i didn't compile things any special way. i just used the stock port. Ditto, cept it may be worth mentioning that i did compile apache with suExec tags, tho I am not trying to use suExec and mod_perl on the same directories/virtualhosts.
