With all due respect, I hate Thunderbirds and Captain Scarlett. However, I
do realize it's totally a personal thing. I just find puppets to be REALLY
creepy... I think I watched too many Twilight Zones as a child...

When it comes to 60s sci-fi, I prefer the Japanese serials like Ultra-Man,
and Space Giants, and of course, good ol' Star Trek. Also, I believe I've
mentioned this before, but anybody who likes 60s sci-fi should look for the
Italian movie, "The 10th Victim" with Marcelo and Ursula.

See, now we're talking. I have to say that UFO is my favorite in the Gerry
Anderson pool although I think Captain Scarlett is the best of the
Supermarionation shows. I also like Stingray although it tends to geta
little tedious in spots. As for Thunderbirds Are Go! dig Cliff and the
Shadows, damn those puppets look like them, especially Hank Marvin and
drummer Brian Bennett, amazing. Anja, both Thunderbirds Are Go! and
Thunderbird 6 are on video here in the states, I have a copy of the former
and I see them pop up in used bins every once and a while.
