Mr. Coles may be correct that mods ought to drive cars that are "stylish,
expensive and small," but well made should be added to that list.  You
wouldn't wear a crap made suit, so why drive a crap made car?  I'd have to
agree with Miss Becky that the TTs are fabulous!!  Audis, in general, are
great cars- always in mode and very well made.  I have an 87 5000S that
people (who don't know Audis) always assume is new.  VWs, on the whole, are
well made and stylish.

As far as older cars- I agree with Miss Becky again!  They have much more
charisma than newer cars.  I've seen a few model cars on TV or in magazines
that have attempted to have a retro look, but either do it poorly, or are
cars that will never be put into production.  I think that the TT has done
it the best by having style elements from the past, but still looks
futuristic enough to be stylish for today.
