solo before the vocals start in, very groovie funk-soul. Also good is
Burning Spear.Other covers include Down in the Ghetto, Express Yourself,
Message From a Black Man, Get Ready, and Memphis Undergound from fellow
floutist Herbie Mann. Re-issued on Beat Goes Public
Bobby Matos- My Latin Soul- Wonderfully energetic latin soul including
the all time greats (IMHO) Tema De Alma Latina (Latin Soul Theme) And
Mambo Maxims. A few stinkers, but overall this album is a must have.
