Fucking hell..
The Beach Boys (gosh I remember Pet Sounds made number 1 in the UK)
Glen Miller (Big band white guy jazz turned you on!)
Velvet Underground
Bob Dylan!!!
kid A. I think we can assume that we both have influenced each others
culture. So while I sit around drinking tea at 4 o'clock listening
to my blur cd reading about how the "Dandy Style" is back in (Shit
you not.. Hair style magazine.. all mod cuts in the back).. day
dreaming about getting "caned" tonight at my 'Gaft and what 'kit I
should wear.. and if my Knickers are too tight.. Or if I should just
sit around and drink stella and watch BBCA britcoms.
kid b. While student B in britain.. Thumps his head to the latest
Blink 187 song in his baggy ass pants.. dreaming of Skating EMB in
San Francisco and then later going Surfing at Santa Cruz or heading
out to Boulder Co.. to hit some stoakin slopes and at the end of the
day puff some kind dank.. which is hella cool...
After it all.. is it really very bad that we envy one another.. Why
not just take it as a compliment... and be happy.. why does everyone
have to be such a cunt and make this personal. Enjoying another
person's culture and living it doesn't harm anyone.. its apart of
life and experiencing all of it.. you can't deny that to anyone.
