As far as the proposed Heshers revival - where have you people been? The
rock revival has been dragging on for eons now. I saw my first ironic mullet
two years ago. Last night at a fashionable local bar there were many, many
ironic rock looks - cheap trick t-shirts, ice-wash denim, studded belts,
Suzi Quatro hairdo's...
If you haven't seen it, the best document of American rock fans at their
finest is "Heavy Metal Parking Lot", a short film shot in the parking lot
(surprise) of a Judas Priest concert in suburban Maryland circa 1987. Truly
the funniest thing you have *ever* seen.
Has everyone come back from all going away from the list forever yet? Or are
we still missing a couple?
