hrm -- i know some people that do live in the city that own cars...although
parking is a pain in the butt and i dont understand why they refuse to give
up their precious car.
i am also aware of *good* non-nyc resident drivers, thats is *if* you assume
the only way to be a good driver in nyc is to act like a taxi cab driver. :D
<< scooters exposed - saw a most disturbing thing on tv last night - there
was a macy's commercial and stuck in one of the scenes was a yuppie looking
fuck on a scooter. >>
yah -- i walked by the ann taylor store uptown and there was a scooter in
some of those ads' as well. oh! - the summer ad in LL Bean can not be
forgotten as well.
<< someone commented earlier that nyc's mod scene sucks because there only a
few nights happening here and there, lack of interest, etc. all true.>>
...and id like to add, as i've never seen it posted on this list, that the
Raven (on Ave A and 12th (i think 12th)) has a mod night on Tuesdays. so any
nyc mods can rock that evening.
