I must say, I was pretty unimpressed with the Monkees a few years back...I
saw them in concert (I won't get into how absoluetly horrible their "new"
songs were) about a year ago. Given the impression I had gotten from watching
the show when I was younger, one would've thought that Peter Tork would be a
nice person. He was the biggest curmudgeon this side of Memphis! Yelling at
small children and such... Davy Jones acted like signing an autograph was a
damn chore and was too strung out on Metamucil to crack a smile. Seems like
Mike Nesmith is the only one with any self-respect.
Anyone else have any horrible reunion tour stories??
