Sure, it looks like a flaky hippy den, but it's clean, cheap (we got a room for 4 for $100 per night, can't beat that in the city), the staff is friendly...plus a free breakfeast if you get up before the ungodly hour of 10 a.m. Oh, and the rooms don't have there own bathrooms, which is a plus since there is 5 to choose from, so everyone can get ready at the same time. Being right on Haight might seem annoying to some, but honestly it will save you a ton in cab fare.
