I have a couple of albums by The Swingle Singers.
"Swingle Singers/Sony Compact Jazz" is a good compilation to have (has my
favourite "Vendome"), and I also have the "Jazz Sebastien Bach" lp.
A lot of the MJQ/SS stuff is on the Compact Jazz album, which I'd recommend,
and it's similar to a lot of Getz/Jobim/Gilberto.
Not the most challenging of jazz - good to chill out to, but I've yet to
meet ANYONE my age or under, who can stand any of it.
I played them quite loud one morning, and my roomate next door was just
coming up on an acid trip, and when he heard The Swingle Singers playing in
the next room, it kind of did his head in...
Well - I LIKE THEM!!!!
