Whilst I agree with some of what you say, I don't like his solo
stuff much, but love Style Council. Also OCS are shite, but some of
your points are well(er) off the mark

now this has gotta be a windup, they were only sore cos he split up
when he did and they wanted to milk the Jam cash cow. One of the
main reasons The Jam have such a legacy is cos Weller split them up
at the right time. Since then both of them have done cock all and
tried to cash in on The Jam with books etc. Whatfor eg has Foxton
done since Jam days, oh yes sings Smithers Jones with Stiff Little

Sure I agrre that these days his crows are made up for th most part
of fawning nostalgia ridden old blokes and I don't listen to his new
stuff at all. Still think its more dignified than him knocking out

on a related note has anyone else heard that Basement Jaxx bootleh
which samples Start, its a monster tune
