Every time I need to buy a new pair of mens dress shoes, It's always a
lenghty process. It's really difficult for me to find leather, pointed toe,
wooden sole shoes under 300 bucks! Everything is still so bulky, square
toed, wide toed, rubber soled etc...kenneth cole, burn in hell! Any
suggestions?

Hello Everybody!!

Hope all is well...now at six months on the street, here's another roundup on Chico
Hamilton's Koch Jazz release FORESTSTORN.

In the first two weeks of November Chico performed a series of IN STORE
appearances for Borders Bookstore, performing solo on his drum kit, interacting
with the audience, and signing copies of his FORESTSTORN CD!! These appearances
took place in Washington, DC, Columbia, MD, Wynnewood, PA, White Plains, NY, and
Boston, MA, and were supported by on air interviews at WEAA-FM Radio in Baltimore,
WITR-FM Radio in Philadelphia, and both WERS-FM Radio and WGHB-FM Radio in
Boston. A fair amount of major coverage was received in the respective such as this
full apge article in the Boston Herald:

http://www.bostonherald.com/entertainment/music/chic11142001.htm

The November issues of Down Beat, Jazz Times and Modern Drummer also saw
MAJOR features on Chico start coming in Down Beat, Jazz Times, and Modern
Drummer, and here's a sampler from Modern Drummer:

http://www.moderndrummer.com/updatefull.asp?alt=100000854

The New Year will see Chico and his Euphoria group featured in an advertising campaign
for Macanudo cigars and a variety of public events in support of the ad campaign,
dubbed
Jazz Macanudo.

The New Year will also see a variety of online promotions ongoing thru the first three
months of 2002, including online chats and a live cybercast.

Also in the works is the possibility of a remix promotional single of various tracks
from
FORESTSTORN from a DJ'ing LEGEND, to keep up the interest internationally for the
FORESTSTORN album.

And lastly, we are putting together a NICE lobbying campaign to see if we can get Chico
his first Grammy nomination in his 80th year!! So stay tuned for developing news on the
Grammy front, with nominations being announced January 3rd, 2002.

Chico's upcoming performances in support of FORESTSTORN include:

December 10th, 2001

La Bonne Soupe (Private Party), NYC, NY (w/ Trio!)

March 6th, 2002
Sculler's Jazz Club, Boston, MA (w/ Euphoria)

October 5th, 2002
Stockton Performing Arts Center, Pomona, NJ (w/ Euphoria)

Wishing you a GREAT Holdiay Season from our family to each of yours!!

More soon.

Thanks.

Peace.

Keep the Faith.

Jeffrey

Marc Jacobs do great shoes for women - pointy toes, discreet tiny heels or
flat and geometric patterns
and op art designs. Impeccable stitching and top quality leather. Very
expensive though...I'm lucky a
friend of mine got them all cheap for me...I've got 6 pairs of his
shoes....he designs for other fashion
houses too. I believe he makes for men too...but I can't comment on these.
Very difficult to get hold of
original 60's good quality shoes...all the best designs are either really
tatty or only the ugly shoes
survive and end up in the junk shops for some reason !

I really want a new pair of shoes. I mean, I always want a new pair of
shoes, but right now I really want a pair. The problem is that I'm not sure
what I want. Does anybody have any current favourites? Just so I can weigh
up the pros and cons of any particular style.

Hello,
Of late added lots more links to the Modculture search engine for the Mod
scene. Probably the biggest "free to view" links listing around. If you
haven`t checked it of late, might be worth another look. Additionally, if you
have a site, well worth getting it listed, as it generates you traffic, no
strings attached.

Find the listing at:

Ok, sorry. Er, I guess they have to be suitable for both. I don't have a lot
of spare money so thats why I want them to be right. Also, the clubs that I
go to are incredibly dirty underfoot so I don't want to be upset about
having them dirty at the end of the night. Its really difficult.
