I have been working on integrating the mod_ssl EAPI patches, and a mod_ssl
module, into the NetBSD software packaging system, pkgsrc. I must give some
degree of thanks for the new modularity (EAPI vs. module) of mod_ssl. Is
the EAPI being considered as a regular addition to the mainline Apache
source?
One thing I noticed about mod_ssl is that it's quite happy using NetBSD's
patch(1) with one exception: etc/apply.sh has to be modified to pass the
argument "--directory dirname" instead of "--directory=dirname". If the
third party patch in etc/ works with this as well, I would like to suggest
apply.sh be changed in this way.
