There have to be first some more polishing work on EAPI to be done before it's
really ready for a contribution to our Apache Group's official source.
Especially I've to try to incorporate the existing EAPI optimization patch.
I'm currently too busy with other stuff, but that's no problem. Let EAPI prove
it's robustness and usefulness for a few weeks and then we can try to
contribute it to the Apache mainstream line. At least plans exists, of course.
Because EAPI solves a lot of long-standing problems Apache modules have....

Yes, this patch (it's a stripped down patch 2.1) accepts "--directory
dirname", too. I'll change it for 2.1.2 to make your life easier.
