Try starting with a fresh Apache src tree. You've probably used this src tree
through at least a couple of older versions of mod_ssl. I think an earlier
version of mod_ssl put some things in a different place than the current
version expects to find them. However, the current version of mod_ssl sees
that certain patches have already been applied to the src tree, and skips
them. Someone (a couple of days ago) had a method for actually fixing up the
Apache src tree, but I think it sounds easier to start fresh. If you want to
take the fix-up route, check the mailing list archives for the past week or so.
I had the same exact problem with HP/UX 10.20, and starting with a freshly
un-tar'd Apache src directory did the trick.
