I can start my ssl server without server.csr? is it correct?
why in ssl_faq.html, says using sign.sh to create server.csr?

        Using the mandrake rpm file I have had the same error. using openssl
0.9.3a ,
        it seems like the package does not contain the configuration files,
just the
        libraries.
        I had to get the openssl configuration files from another
package.......
