Yep. Support for dynamic linking is quite new in openssl (except a few
os's). Note: you could build mod_ssl as shared - see the INSTALL doc.

That should be taken care of by the httpd.conf that is created when
building Apache+mod_ssl - unless you have need something special, then
the httpd.conf will probably only need minor corrections.
