I'm not a lawyer, and I disclaim any responsibility for not properly
interpreting any legal crap. Therefore, if I'm wrong and you get in
trouble because of it, don't blame me.

RSA has made the algorithm open-source. Therefore, anything using that
algorithm in the US no longer needs an RSA license to be legal.
The CODE is still proprietary, and that includes RSAref. So if you
compile something with RSAref, you still have to get a license from
RSA if you want to use it commercially.
My suggestion, compile any RSA support with third party support
(available outside the US for some time)

Also ... don't take my word for it. If you're planning to use the RSA
aglorithm/code in a commercial environment, read and understand all
the various information about licensing at www.rsasecurity.com. If you
still are confused, get a lawyer to verify it for you.
