Could you be a little more specific?
- what OS/platform?
- what runtime error? (segmentation fault? bus error? core dump?)
- what does it say in error_log?
- what pages? (any page?, only one page?, some pages?)
- what version mod_ssl (2.8.0?)
We have exactly this set-up on Solaris 2.8 and no problems.
