Do you really need to handle "this Sunday"? In my experience, the meaning of the phrase differs depending on whether the sentence is about the past or the future, and I've never heard of anyone consistently using it to mean "the Sunday of the current week". And there may be regional differences in usage -- certainly phrases like "Sunday week" are used only in some varieties of English.
