I wish I had that kind of free time. Try setting the env var PERL_AUTOINSTALL to --check or --skip. Or --check,--skip q.v. http://search.cpan.org/src/ADAMK/Module-Install-0.77/lib/Module/AutoInstall.pm -- rjbs
