And we aren't free of the general where we must politely ask our 
dependencies to please not (ever) use M::B to build themselves.  A bit

Not without a working M::B, which requires version.pm.  See the bundle 
demo for how including two files and a couple lines in M::B's Build.PL 
gets around this.
