Well, it *appears* that most of the distros with a large dependency 
chain are using Module::Install.  The case where M::I is the entry 
point is what I mainly had in mind.  Also, those authors are probably 
releasing frequently and paying attention ;-)

Are there some stats somewhere on what projects are using what builder 
and a way to correlate that to how many dependencies they have?
