That test has nothing to do with compilation, nor Module::Build, so you've
found some other MakeMaker issue.
Please run "perl -Mblib t/recurs.t" and send the output along with your
Makefile and a self-addressed stamped envelope to
bug-extutils-makema...@rt.cpan.org
