I plan to release a snapshot in the next day or so. This snapshot will be close to a release candidate, except for bug fixes and minor dual-life module updates (and it will still identify itself as 5.10.0); then about two weeks later I'll release RC1. It you're not aware of any issues with the version.pm in blead, and if the only changes for 0.77 will be pod, and if you think the pod will be finished within two weeks, then I'm tempted to pull the current blead version into maint in time for the snapshot. -- In my day, we used to edit the inodes by hand.
