I could reproduce it with Mozilla and verify with it that this
particular bug is now fixed. It was indeed a bug in PAUSE and not in
Mozilla. XHTML in the particular flavor "DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"
has this subtlety that leading blanks in values are not allowed.
