why:
I have a couple of things that I have had for a while, first will
be: Math::Expression.pm, this compiles & evaluates expressions. The
reason that I wrote it was to make config files simpler: just
evaluate an expression that yeilds a config value (like a date
dependent file name).
I also have whole Program logging subsystem implemented in Perl, C
and shell.
