Is this going to be like a Twilight Zone episode I saw many years ago where the person was paid to press this button. By pressing the button, someone, somewhere would die. They wouldn't know who. There decision was whether to press it or not. So, if I press this button does your head explode or something, or is that only if I don't press it. Anyway, I am in no rush to press it. Just before a release is a really bad idea, and also need to ensure that places like Ohloh handle hg as a repository enrollment. Finally, there is the inconvenience factor for all those people who may already be using subversion checkouts to get the source code. There really needs to be good justification for why a switch should be made. This project isn't exactly one where many people are working on it, so it is not like it brings any needed features.
