  Julf,

I can't speak for the Dartford crossing, but the M25 from the M26 to J8 on a
normal Saturday at that time is busy, but moving. Expect 40 - 70 m.p.h.

But, and a big but, this weekend is the Olympic cycling road race in Surrey,
with road closures from Central London round a loop through Dorking and back
again. You won't quite reach the closed roads, but the fall-out could be
bad...

I'm staying as far from it as I can, duck-hunting in rural Aberdeenshire.

  Tim

Not my choice of dates, but... I will have to travel on Saturday
morning (not in my Mog, but on the (old) Hesketh motorcycle) from
Harwich (setting off approx 7:30 am) to Kingswood, Surrey (exit 8
off M25), and then take public transport down to Gatwick.

So those of you living around London, how bad do you expect the
M25 and the Dartford Crossing to be on Saturday between 9 and 10 AM?
