Hi Bob, A153RUM is an `83 CVH 4/4. Like you I don`t know what the official performance figures are. However I have had mine 10 years now and can only say it is one of the best cars I have had and certainly I`ve owned longer than any other. As to performance I seem to get 35 mpg most of the time and at the Le Mans classic I dared to flatten it on the Mulsanne Straight and saw 4800rpm in top which is 105mph near as dammit. My speedo is only there for decoration and reads approximately 10% fast which I believe a lot of them do. I did read somewhere that 0 - 60 is about 11 secs. No road rocket but hell of a lot of fun. Coming up to 110000 miles now and runs as good as ever. I always have trouble with emmisions at MOT time even though the mixture is as lean as I can get it and the plugs are the correct colour , but somehow my friendly tester gets it through. More knowledgeable than I will doubtless respond with more enlightening figures. Just enjoy. Hi I have owned my 1984 4.4 with a cvh engine for a few years now and used as a local runaround. Two years ago the TR6 was poorly and so the Morgan was pressed into service for the Le Mans Classic trip and was a joy to drive Last autumn we resprayed her and on this years Le Mans trip she just went over the 20,000 mile mark. I now wish to know how well she is running, so what I am looking for is information on the performance I should expect and statistics such as 'final gear ratios' etc. I have Original Morgan by John Worrall and Morgan the Last Survivor by Chris Harvey but neither cover the Series 1600 cvh with 5 speed box.very well. Any information would be appreciated. p.s. Anyone looking for a good TR6?
