Thanks Owen, I suppose my question was is it likely that I can preserve the life of the wings significantly by trying to tackle this now. I mentioned the edge issue to Kevin vernon when I first noticed it and his comment was that the die had been cast long before my ownership of the car. The car is waxoyled now and I think it had been done prior to my stewardship, but I think the car had been a bit of a garage queen in its previous life, but I don't think much preventative medicine had ever really been done - I think it had only ever been serviced when it changed hands for its first 21 years
