Thomas Telford: The finest Civil Engineer;
Robert Stephenson: The finest Structural/Mechanical Engineer.

Magazine (the glossy journal of the IET) has an article on the construction
techniques used in the building of the aqueduct. Apart from the basic error of
referring to LTC Rolt as LTC Holt that is.
