were mainly developed to meet CA Emissions Standards which become
Federal after five years whether we like it or not.
At least when it's done well, which isn't always, you have a lot more
performance and far better fuel mileage. There are 50,000 and 100,000
mile statutory emissions system warranties and no carb is going to
"stay in tune" THAT long! ;-)
