Hi Mike,
The E type is a series 1 2+2. Coming together slowly, and overcoming lots
of electrical snags on the way but its beginning to look good. Hopefully
ready in about 4 to 6 weeks. But you`ll have to travel a fair old stretch
to connect up with me as I am in the far north east of Scotland nae far
from Owen.. Of course you could always plan a wee tour to include our
local classic car club rally in August at Brodie Castle in Morayshire as
with all fingers crossed the E type will be entered for that..
Good to hear from you,
Cheers
Ron.
PS I`ve yet to drive one !

I don`t know much about `brand image` but recently I`ve put in a few
hundred miles in a 1750 Alfa Romeo Spider that I bought and applied some
TLC to over the winter.
Do you know this, nobody takes a blind bit of notice of it. Now in my
delightful 4/4, lights flash, people wave, and everybody knows someone who
had one of them hundreds of years ago.
So which stays and which goes.
No contest, Morgan stays forever ! And it`s far better drive.
Ron.
I`m also playing with an E Type Jag and will be very curious how that
compares and which I will want to keep when I eventually get a drive in
it. Bought as a big box of bits last year and nearly at the point of
starting the magnificent motor.
