-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi,
Upgrading monitoring server...(mistake no.1!) Installed Suse 8.1/perl 5.8.0/Apache 1.3.26 Using the sqlconn.monitor to check database availability On the old server, works fine. On the new one, all the oracle utils (tnsping/sqlnet etc) work fine. Mon.cgi for the database checks now come up with "NO SUMMARY, Failed, No Alerts" same scripts are being used Does the mon.cgi actually log somewhere the results from particular acions as the above error messages are a little vague. The rest of the tests the server caries out are all working fine (DNS, ping, http etc etc) so the script is accessable and executable. A bit stumped! Any hints gratefully received.
