Mon and Heatbeat - Dhcpd

Hello everybody,
i just finish to install Heartbeat. But the problem is, heartbeat doesn't check the services but only if the computer is still "pluged". So i eard that i could use Mon. But with i didn't find a script to check a DHCP service....

Maybe someone can help me ?

I have to install Mon on all the server ?
