I used the basic scripts on www.linuxvirutalserver.org and adapted them to my specific situation. I'm monitoring http, https, imap and smtp services on my director. In case of failure on one of the services, the specific real server is removed and 2 alerts are going out: 1 e-mail and one for my pager. :) I see in your script, you also remove complete services from the lvs. What's the idea behind that? I mean once all realservers go down, why do you remove the whole service? To use a backup server outside the lvs? > > > > That would be great! Temperature about 30 degrees Celsius. I'll send you a postcard anyway if you give me your address.
