I had that "Unidentified output from fping" problem. fping version: 2.2b1
Using a really really recent cvs version of mon. To fix it I added to the fping monitor code to: * Ignore blank lines output by fping * Ignore "error while sending ping: Host is down" Basically, fping was from time to time outputting 10.10.10.10 error while sending ping: host is down <blank line> 10.10.10.10 host unreachable I can send a patch if anyone wants to patch cvs. Thanks for Mon Bill _______________________________________________ mon mailing list mon@linux.kernel.org http://linux.kernel.org/mailman/listinfo/mon
