Hi Carlos, Can you check what happens if you stop the master process manually? Do the worker processes survive, or does the master process tear them down when you kill it?
Try stopping the monit service and doing that check manually. I suspect the master process tears down it's child (worker) processes when it stops. Best, Phil Townes
