Surely you too see it's a road of diminishing gains? Would you like to add code 
to support GCC 0.95?

I really think a line has to be drawn somewhere. Let's discuss where everyone 
thinks that line should be. If you know of such platforms, please list their 
versions and suggest a minimum.
