Yes of course you are right. The difficulty I have is that most times
it's hard to see where else you could call it, because you can't call it
more than once for the same remote object. At least you can't in
Windows. So it seems sensible, and safe to call it there.
Can you suggest where else you might call it?
I'm afraid I've demonstrated my ignorance pretty well on this thread -
but at least I'm learning. I just hope it's not too boring for the rest
of you!
