CodeSmith 2.6 is almost 5 years old. Sadly, it probably isn't that far off from working with Mono, but it has some p/invokes, and after this long, it doesn't seem like they have any incentive to do any maintenance on the freeware tool. If you want to generate code from CodeSmith tempates on Mono, then it may be worth seeing if they have plans to support Mono with a newer version of their tool.
On the other hand, I would love to see the T4 community grow.
