For example, they are currently at 3.2.4, whereas those produced by Tim seem to follow the release very closely and match what is on the mono website downloads page (currently 3.4.0). But if they are kept up to date responsibly, then it seems like they should become the official releases and maybe Eberhard should be asking the same questions as Tim. Also, these are Debian / Ubuntu only. Fedora, CentOS, and OpenSUSE are left out. It would be very nice to be able to find the latest distributions anytime they are needed instead of having to hunt for them for the various distributions one wants to support for their application.
