My opinion regarding that warning depends on the offset: of course something up to a few minutes delta means nothing (simply the user didn't care use NTP), a delta up to one day means little (the user didn't configure the timezone), but a delta over one day is wrong for sure… I'm sure a warning would be nice to have in that last case, but probably also in the middle one.
