Most likely it was fixed by this commit:

Oh, nice. I forgot about that!
(it was starred in my GitHub so I guess I knew at some point)

About bad date certs, actually when exporting with a recent monotone
release it doesn't seem to happen anymore so maybe someone solved it in
the git_export code directly after 1.1 release?

Anyways I have a completely up-to-date export here and here:
