Safer and easier to maintain, as the server will not execute a PHP script with 
every request. 
The server will still execute background scripts at regular intervals to keep 
things updated, if needed.

The new website will retain the same functionalities, nothing will be lost.
The blog and the automatic download listings will keep working via cron jobs.
Monotone.ca will actually gain more features through HTML5 and new web 
standards.

Sure, I'd appreciate it. More translations ==> More visitors!
Once the website is ready, translating it into a new language will require 2, 3 
hours at most.

I'm awaiting for Lapo's feedback so development can start.
