GOD GREW TIRED OF US chronicles the incredible odyssey of three young
Sudanese men - John, Daniel and Panther - in the strange new world of
America and how they strive towards a brighter future. They are among
over 20,000 boys, who came to be known as the ‘lost boys.’ During the
five years they walked in search of safety, thousands died from
starvation and bomb raids. They must now learn to adapt to the
bizarre shock of Western culture, while never forgetting the loved
ones they left behind in Africa.
Join us for a post-screening discussion and Q&A on The Lost Boys of
Sudan, hosted by the Jewish Family and Children's Service!
