Tom,   While refurbishing the fiberglass on my boat, I found that the Penatrol does a great job on the aluminum toe rails, too. They were very dull and faded and are bright and shiny now. Just wipe the Penatrol on with a rag, let it sit for a minute or two, and then wipe it off with a clean, dry rag before the stuff gets sticky. Larry Y. M17, #200 Tullamore
