Hello, Steve... Sorry this is late in replying.
The CP16 we have is an `88`, semi-dressed, with up-grades [company] in
place. Bought it on a whim, not knowing much about boats [or sailing for
that matter], only to find i`d made a great purchase. We`re really happy
with it. `She` has been with us now in `its` eighth yr.
~ Being a trailerable boat, there are places that we too wish to see &
sail.
~ Hope your sailing season goes well. Thanks for the welcome. Seems as
tho this is an active site w/lots of info & help available for members.

Hello and Welcome, Vicki & Terry, it's good to have you.
The cp16 was the only other boat I considered before I
bought my M15. Seems to be a good solid boat. What year
do you have?
I too sail the Great Lakes (so far primarily southern
Lake Michigan but I hope to travel a little farther
afield someday, when I've got a little more experience,
and a little more time. (I'm afraid the scenery to be
found around the southern half of Lake Michigan pales in
comparison to more northerly spots around Superior and
Huron.)
(Ahh, so many places to sail, so little time!!)
