If a tree falls in the forest and there is no one to hear it, it still makes
a sound due to the wave patterns set up by the impact. "There's no women"is
incorrect whether or not any of the anal retentive, grammar-loving sailors
are up and running or not, as harsh a reality as that may be. If the
original quote had not been aimed at women in general, however, grace may
have kept me from responding. Grammar-challenged or not, I'm sure you have
many wonderful character traits, especially if you like Montgomerys.
